This Korean Restaurant and Bar opened on January 15, 2004 in Saika-cho in Wakayama City. I went there on Friday night, to find no empty seat, leading me to think this restaurant had a good reputation. The first thing I noticed was its sense of sophistication and an air of excitement, and no wonder I found a relatively large number of young ladies and couples always looking for such a romantic atmosphere.

This establishment is also suitable for office workers to relax in its fashionable decor after the frustration and stress in their office environment. There are individually prepared seats for couples, a bar counter and rooms for parties with dark and atmospheric lighting. I saw some groups of businessmen enjoying their parties in these types of rooms. The restaurant is full of laughter and smiling faces. The young, eager and kind servers in this restaurant and bar are willing to serve with a smile. They exude a sense of pride at working in such a hip new place. All the dishes are authentically Korean and almost all of them are served hot and spicy. Most Korean foods served in Japan are not hot and spicy so this is a real treat to have authentic Korean dishes in a cool and fashionable restaurant.

Although I am not exactly fond of hot and spicy foods, I enjoyed all the foods we ordered. I particularly recommend a Korean pan dish named Purukogi at 1200 yen for 1 person.
